Meet Andrea Mullineux, award-winning winemaker originally from California, now based in South Africa’s Swartland.

Alongside her husband Chris, she co-founded Mullineux & Leeu Family Wines in 2007, quickly establishing it as one of South Africa’s most acclaimed estates. Named International Winemaker of the Year by Wine Enthusiast in 2016, Andrea is known for her minimal-intervention approach, crafting expressive wines from old vines rooted in granite and schist soils.
