Welcome to the Georgian Bay Surf Club (GBSC) FAQs page.

Here, we attempt to answer your questions about our surf-inspired retail and hospitality experience. From reservations and event bookings to menu details and shop policies, we've got some of the basics covered.

  • Oh heck ya!

    Surfing does exist here. The video on our home page proves it!

    And we got everything in store for you to get out there yourself!

  • Our bar, restaurant and surf shop are all together in one location, situated at 135 Hurontario Street in downtown Collingwood, Ontario, Canada.

  • Bar + Restaurant:

    • Tuesday + Thursday: 12:00pm - 10:00pm

    • Friday + Saturday: 12:00pm - 11:00pm

    • Sunday: 12:00pm - 10:00pm

    • Monday - Closed

    Surf Shop:

    • Tuesday - Sunday: 12:00pm - 6:00pm

    • Monday - Closed

    • Online - 24/7

  • Space is at a premium downtown Collingwood, so we do not have private guest parking. However, there is plenty of street and lot parking in our area and it’s free on weekends!

    During the week between Monday and Friday, it is metered.

  • For our RETAIL experience, you can purchase eGift Cards to send to your intended recipient here. Retail eGift Cards can be redeemed both online and in-store.

    For our RESTAURANT experience, you can purchase eGift Cards online here.

    At this time, we do not have physical gift cards.

    Visit us in-store or send us an email to hello@georgianbaysurfclub.com and we can arrange a solution to suit your needs.

  • Reservations are now available for up to one (1) month in advance through our reservation partner, RESY. You can find the link to our RESY profile here.

    If you are planning to join us with a group of six (6) more, please send us an email to restaurant@georgianbaysurfclub.com.

    Please note that for all parties of eight (8) or more, there will be a pre-requisite for one (1) bill and a 20% auto gratuity.

  • If you are thinking about hosting an event in our space, send us an email to restaurant@georgianbaysurfclub.com and let us know what you are thinking.

  • We are working on a menu for kids. Please reach out to us at restaurant@georgianbaysurfclub.com, and we can share what we can offer at the moment, prior to your visit with your children.

  • Come in and grab something from our café selection to-go.

    Currently, we are not taking takeout orders nor are we on any food service app.

  • Send us an email and let us know what is up to retail@georgianbaysurfclub.com or come in and speak with us. We want to help.

  • Currently, we only display our surfboard selection online. If you would like to learn more about purchasing a surfboard, let us help you get the right one.

  • Rentals and lessons are something we are considering for the future as our business evolves.

    At the moment, however, we do not offer rentals and lessons.
